Test Application Engineer

This role focuses on developing, debugging, and deploying semiconductor test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms while supporting production release activities and test optimisation. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and global engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance test performance, and deliver reliable solutions for advanced semiconductor devices.

Description

• Develop, debug, validate, and deploy semiconductor test solutions on ATE platforms.
• Support test program correlation, qualification, and production release activities.
• Optimise existing test solutions to improve yield, test time, and manufacturing throughput.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and enhance testing methodologies.
• Provide on-site customer support and technical consultation.
• Gather customer requirements and translate them into engineering development initiatives.
• Collaborate with global application and engineering teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.
• Drive successful customer implementations and milestone deliveries.

Profile

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of semiconductor test or product engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on test development experience.
• Strong experience with Teradyne or other Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms.
• Exposure to UltraFLEX or UltraFLEXPlus platforms is highly desirable.
• Programming skills in test environments, with C#, .NET, or VBA being advantageous.
• Experience in digital and high-power semiconductor device testing.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% regionally when required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
