Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AI Test Automation Engineer to join our AI Center of Excellence (AI COE). The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions while supporting the quality assurance of AI-enabled applications and technologies.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software testing and test automation, with hands-on experience in modern automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD, and programming or scripting. Experience with AI-assisted development, Generative AI, LLM-based applications, or AI testing is highly preferred.

This role is suitable for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who wants to apply their expertise to emerging AI technologies and contribute to the development of AI quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Develop automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform targeted manual and exploratory testing where required.
• Develop and maintain reusable and scalable automation components.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and test reliability.
• Perform API and service-level testing as required.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and document defects.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA professionals to resolve quality issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Monitor automated test execution and address flaky or unreliable test cases.
• Participate in test planning, requirements reviews, sprint activities, and release validation.
• Evaluate AI-generated test cases, scripts, and testing recommendations for accuracy and completeness.
• Support testing of AI-enabled applications, Generative AI solutions, chatbots, copilots, and other AI-powered features.
• Validate AI-generated outputs against defined requirements, expected behavior, and quality standards.
• Contribute to AI testing standards, methodologies, and best practices within the AI Center of Excellence.
• Stay updated on emerging AI-assisted development and testing tools and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
• Strong programming or scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, API, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: Php65,000.00 - Php110,000.00 per month
