Test Development Engineer (Software)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Test Development Engineer **(Software)**to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our test systems and strategies. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product requirements and manufacturing execution—ensuring product reliability, driving test automation, and serving as a key technical contact for both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Plan & Strategy Development: Define and develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and methodologies based on customer specifications and product requirements.
• Test Software Development: Create and debug robust test programs using industry-standard tools and programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand is must and other languages like Python, C++ are optional) to drive automated testers through UUT test.
• Test Software Deployment: Create the user mode with deployment software for operation
• Database integration: Create the test logs platform and all parameters with Database development on Test plan.
• Manufacturing Support: Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting expertise to the manufacturing line regarding test equipment / Test bench, processes, and product failures.
• Continuous Improvement: Enhance testing efficiency, minimize test times, and maximize test coverage by optimizing existing processes and exploring innovative automation methods.
• Customer Interaction: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers regarding test solutions, ensuring requirements are met and supporting qualification and handover phases.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and train technicians to elevate their skill sets and improve daily task execution.
• Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation (work instructions, test specs, procedures) in compliance with ISO and other quality standards.

Key Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 years of experience within a Test Development team or equivalent environment.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Thai (written and verbal).

Technical Competencies

• Expertise in test hardware design, electronic product debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong design knowledge in electronics, test bench software, and lab instruments.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory test equipment (AC Source, DC Source, Electronics load, Data Acquisition, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, power sources, etc.).
• Technical proficiency in software and data tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, C++, Python, MS Office, MS Project, Visio, ERP, and Database development.
• Managerial & Soft Competencies
• Proven leadership qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for managing stakeholder expectations and working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Test Development Engineer Hardware

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Test Development Engineer Hardwareto lead the day-to-day management of hardware development, test fixture design, and root-cause analysis for our electronic products. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product specifications, testing execution, and customer collaboration to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Procedures & Execution: Read, review, and execute all test cases and test procedures according to product specifications.
• Hardware Development Management: Oversee day-to-day hardware development activities and strictly monitor project schedules.
• Customer Communication & Quality Improvement: Serve as the technical point of contact for customers regarding failure analysis, debugging, and preventive technical solutions. Summarize findings into comprehensive reports with actionable improvement plans to eliminate functional failure risks.
• Test Equipment & Schematic Design: Design schematics and mechanical drawings for test systems and fixtures using KiCAD or equivalent EDA tools.
• Test Bench Integration: Set up, configure, and interface lab instruments and test equipment for seamless operation.

Key Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware test bench design or hardware development.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Thai (written and verbal).

Technical Competencies

• Strong design knowledge in electronics, test bench software, safety standards, and test instruments.
• Proficiency with lab and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, Current sensor, Data Analyzer, Data Acquisition, Electronics Load, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, AC source, DC sources, etc.)
• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, power electronics, and signal integrity.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (KiCAD, Altium, etc.).
• Knowledge of data analysis and programming tools for test data decomposition (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, MS Office, MS Project, Visio, ERP).
• Ability to debug electronic products efficiently.

Managerial & Soft Competencies

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong planning, project management, and communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers to align component delivery with project timelines.
