Key Responsibilities – Test Driver (Commercial & Personal Vehicles)

• Conduct road tests and performance checks for commercial and personal vehicles.
• Perform pre-delivery and post-repair test drives to verify vehicle condition.
• Check brakes, steering, clutch, gearbox, suspension, engine performance and abnormal noises.
• Identify and report vehicle issues, defects and performance concerns to the Service Advisor/Technician.
• Verify whether repair and service complaints are properly resolved before vehicle delivery.
• Conduct test drives safely as per company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain proper test-drive records and vehicle inspection details.
• Ensure vehicles are handled carefully during testing and returned in proper condition.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians and Workshop Team for rectification of issues.
• Support the workshop team in quality checks and final vehicle delivery inspection.

Required Criteria:

• Education: Diploma/Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering
• Preferred Qualification: Diploma/Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering
• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Preferred Industry: Automobile / Automotive Service / Vehicle Dealership / Commercial & Passenger Vehicle Service.
• Skills: Valid Driving Licence, Good Driving Skills, Knowledge of Commercial & Passenger Vehicles, Basic Vehicle Technical Knowledge, Road Safety, Vehicle Inspection, Problem Solving, and Good Communication.
