Test Engineer

About the role

Test Engineer role at Lumentum Thailand, Navanakorn – Pathum Thani, collaborating with internal and global engineering teams to develop and implement test processes and systems in the manufacturing environment for optical and photonic technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with internal and global engineering teams to develop and implement test processes and systems in the manufacturing environment.
• Design and optimize test processes and create work instructions.
• Improve manufacturing yield, efficiency, and cycle time (HPU).
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operations.
• Develop new and enhance existing test hardware and software to meet product requirements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions for test-related issues on the manufacturing floor.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Test Engineering within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, schematics, and electronic components.
• Knowledge of telecom/datacom transceiver modules is an advantage.
• Experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R, and correlation studies.
• Strong data analysis and technical report-writing skills.
• Proven track record of developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Experience with C#, LabVIEW, test automation, and Minitab/JMP is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
