Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to support hardware testing, validation, production test station readiness, failure troubleshooting, and yield improvement for consumer electronics products.

Key responsibilities

• Bring up, qualify, and maintain production test stations.
• Support hardware testing and validation from development through production.
• Work with fixture vendors and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) on test station design and qualification.
• Perform systematic failure triage and root-cause analysis at both station and Device Under Test (DUT) level.
• Track and manage action items during Factory Build Units (FBU) and development builds.
• Analyze test data, identify yield outliers, and drive corrective actions.
• Support OK2Test (OKT) and OK2Ship (OKS) readiness processes.
• Develop and maintain test scripts, test procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Train production technicians on test equipment and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities after Mass Production (MP).

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hardware testing/validation experience, preferably in consumer electronics or semiconductor environments.
• Hands-on experience with production test station bring-up, qualification, and maintenance.
• Experience working with fixture vendors and Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
• Strong hardware failure troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with test data analysis and yield improvement.
• Experience with FBU/development builds.
• Knowledge of OKT and OKS readiness processes.
• Experience creating and maintaining test scripts and SOPs.
• Ability to train production technicians.
