Test Engineer

Job Purpose

To ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and security of cloud-native products by designing and implementing robust automated testing frameworks.

The role focuses on end-to-end automation across applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and network/security layers, enabling faster, safer releases through CI/CD integration and continuous testing practices.

Experience & Educational Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (degree, training, or certification required)

BE/B-Tech or equivalent with Computer Science or Electronics & Communication

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required)

• 37 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with automation tools:
• Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
• REST Assured (API automation)
• Experience in API testing, UI testing, and end-to-end automation
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience testing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing)
• Basic understanding of security testing (authentication, authorization, encryption)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Experience in fully automated end-to-end portal testing and user scenarios
