Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila

Job Description: We are hiring a Test Engineer to bring up, qualify, and maintain production test stations while managing hardware failure triage and test script maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring up, qualify, and maintain production test stations in consumer electronics manufacturing.
• Partner with fixture vendors and CMs on test station design and qualification.
• Systematic debugging and failure triage of hardware test failures at station and DUT level.
• Track and manage action items during Factory Build Units (FBU) / development builds.
• Analyze test data, identify yield outliers, drive root cause analysis, and maintain OK2Test/OK2Ship checklists.
• Write and maintain test scripts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and train technicians.

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in EE, ECE, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years in hardware testing and validation in a consumer electronics or semiconductor environment.
• Hands-on experience bringing up, qualifying, and maintaining production test stations.
• Experience working with fixture vendors and CMs on test station design and qualification.
• Proficiency in failure triage: systematic debugging of hardware test failures at station and DUT level.
• Experience tracking and managing action items during Factory Build Units (FBU) / development builds.
• Ability to analyze test data, identify yield outliers, and drive root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with OK2Test (OKT) and OK2Ship (OKS) readiness checklist processes.
• Experience writing and maintaining test scripts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to train production technicians on test equipment operation.

Good To Have:

• Direct experience on a smartphone FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Packaging) line.
• Exposure to SMT-level testing (ICT, flying probe, AOI) and sub-assembly test.
• Programming skills: Python, LabVIEW, C++ for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience with RF, cellular (5G/LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC functional testing.
• Familiarity with Teradyne, National Instruments (NI), or equivalent ATE platforms.
• Data analysis tools: SQL, Tableau, Power BI for yield dashboard creation.
• Experience with camera, audio, display, or biometric sensor test methodologies.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and product qualification testing (MIL-STD, JEDEC).
• Experience in sustaining test engineering (post-MP continuous improvement).
