Test Engineer

The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing quality tests, creating custom controls, and drafting final procedures for the technicians and personnel involved. Ensure that products meet company and industry standards, guaranteeing maximum product performance

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute functional, performance, and validation test procedures.
• Ensure all test activities comply with company and industry quality standards.
• Document detailed test results and create clear, accurate technical reports.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve defects to improve product reliability and testing efficiency.
• Implement and maintain automation scripts and tools to increase test coverage and repeatability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and development teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support new test flow validation and updates to existing test procedures.
• Analyze testing trends and propose improvements for continuous process optimization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to testing and product quality.
• Assist in implementing new test technologies and tools.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and procedure manuals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of operating environments such as Linux, Python, or MSDOS.
• Experience with SQL databases for backend testing and data validation.
• 2+ years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar technical role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably 5+ years’ experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar technical role

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; alternatively, 6–8 years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Frequent interaction with production and warehouse teams.

Work Environment:

• Climate-controlled warehouse and assembly facility.
• Frequent interaction with production lines and warehouse areas.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with occasional overtime based on business needs.
