Test Engineer

Job Summary

The Test Engineer is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing test processes to ensure product functionality and quality. This role involves hands-on testing activities within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment, covering a range of testing methodologies and equipment. The engineer ensures all testing procedures comply with relevant quality management systems such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485. The position also requires coordination with cross-functional teams to support production needs, resolve test-related issues, and drive continuous improvement in test efficiency and reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test jigs and automated testing systems for related electronic products.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and document test procedures.
• Develop ICT (In-Circuit Test) fixtures and write Flying Probe Test (FPT) programs.
• Conduct functional testing (FCT) and support continuous improvement activities in the testing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D and production to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Report directly to the Test Senior Engineer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Programming Engineering, or IT.
• Proven experience in test engineering, particularly in EMS environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, LabVIEW, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) principles.
• Familiarity with ICT, Flying Probe, and Functional Circuit Testing equipment.

Pay: Up to RM7,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
