Test Engineer

For one of our clients, a leading company in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a Test Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, executing, and analyzing IC and electronic system tests in a laboratory environment. Working closely with design teams and external test partners, you will help validate chip performance, troubleshoot issues, and support the development of next-generation semiconductor technologies.

Your mission

• Set up and debug chip test benches, including instruments, power supplies, boards, fixtures, cabling, automation scripts, and data acquisition systems.
• Execute functional and parametric tests according to the validation plan.
• Analyze measurement data, identify issues, and correlate results with design expectations.
• Prepare concise test reports with observations, pass/fail criteria, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with external test houses regarding test requirements, implementation, logistics, and data exchange.
• Track issues, support resolutions, and follow up on schedules and deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal design teams and external partners to ensure successful validation activities.

Your profile

• Experience in IC testing or electronic system testing within a laboratory environment.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment and PCB-based test setups.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or similar automation environments is mandatory.
• Experience with IC testing and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is required.
• Experience with PMICs and voltage regulators is an asset.
• Comfortable working primarily in a laboratory environment.
• Pragmatic, autonomous, and accurate in reporting and documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with international teams and external partners.
