Job Summary:

We are expanding our QA team, which is responsible for the quality of the advanced systems we develop for the energy sector. We are looking for a specialist who will strengthen our capabilities in advanced manual and domain-specific testing, combined with the active creation and development of a coherent test automation strategy (GUI, API, Performance/Load Testing). We focus on optimising day-to-day work, modern tools and opportunities for development within your chosen QA specialism.

Key responsibilities:

• designing, maintaining and carrying out tests (functional, integration and regression) based on technical and business documentation (80%),
• designing and running automated tests: end-to-end (E2E) and load tests (20%),
• creating test plans and test cases for new and existing functionalities,
• analysing and reporting test results,
• proposing improvements to the software under development,
• working closely with the development team,
• writing documentation and reporting incidents,
• analysing business documentation.

Requirements:

• at least 2 years’ professional experience in software testing,
• practical knowledge of the JIRA system (including the Xray plug-in),
• knowledge of data testing tools,
• knowledge of unit testing and a good understanding of testing standards (ISTQB certifications are a plus),
• english language proficiency at a minimum B2 level,
• higher education: preference given to degrees in computer science, mathematics and related fields.

Nice to have:

• knowledge of load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6 or Locust),
• ability to monitor infrastructure and application resources (knowledge of APM tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, VisualVM or JProfiler),
• knowledge of Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Java/Python) or another modern framework, with a willingness to make a swift transition to Playwright,
• knowledge of databases and PL/SQL.
