Test Engineer – Command and control

Your role Command and Control is growing and we are putting more efforts into the test and verification area. This is a position for a Test Engineer in the Integration and Verification (I&V) team. You will be part of our journey to develop and improve ways of working, enabling successful and efficient deliveries in our projects and product programs.

Working as a Test Engineer within Command and Control means gaining a deep understanding of system behavior and performance. You will contribute to planning and coordinating test activities in projects and collaborate closely with project managers, team leads, developers and other stakeholders. The role also includes participating in the department's test forum, where representatives from development teams and the Integration and Verification team share knowledge, experiences and ideas for improving test practices.

Other tasks are:

• Systems integration, verification and validation
• Contribute to maintaining and developing common ways of working within Integration and Verification from both a product and project perspective
• Participate in test activities and support the administration, review and release of test documentation

Your profile To succeed in this role, you are a self-motivated individual who enjoys collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You have at least two years of experience working within software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering in complex technical environments.

You are a structured person with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. You take responsibility for your work, deliver with quality, and have a proactive mindset. You are curious and interested in continuously improving ways of working, while also contributing with new perspectives and ideas.

You are a strong communicator, fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with different disciplines to achieve common goals.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in similar roles and tasks
• Minimum two years of experience working with software testing, including test automation and/or QA
• Experience in test planning and test execution
• Experience in analyzing test results, identifying improvements, fault tracing and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

Desired Skills

• Experience in programming, preferably Java
• Knowledge of Jira and Zephyr
• Knowledge of Linux
• Experience from software and/or hardware development
• Understanding of requirements and compliance work
• Experience working in agile teams
