Test Engineer- Experienced in SEO

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on testing experience along with mandatory working experience of SEO and JIRA for test management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and/or automated) for web/mobile applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and marketing teams to validate that pages/features meet SEO best practices (meta tags, page speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, structured data, broken links, redirects, etc.)
• Conduct SEO audits/testing during QA cycles to catch technical SEO issues before release
• Prepare test plans, test scripts, and test summary reports
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum environment)
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios

Mandatory Skills:

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Software/Web Testing (Manual/Automation)
• Strong working knowledge of SEO concepts (on-page SEO, technical SEO, Google Search Console, page speed tools, etc.)
• Proven experience using JIRA for bug tracking, sprint management, and workflow documentation
• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
