Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware development, or a similar product development environment.

• Approximately 3 years of practical experience in hardware development, hardware testing/validation, or test bench development.

• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, hardware systems, and testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), power supplies, power analyzers, and other electronic testing instruments.

• Experience with schematic design tools such as KiCAD or similar software.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Visio, and instrument communication/interface software is an advantage.

• Knowledge or experience in software testing, test automation, or automated testing systems would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Specification & Validation

• Review product specifications and understand the required testing and validation criteria.
• Evaluate test methods and test cases to ensure they are suitable and aligned with project requirements.
• Identify potential gaps or issues in the testing process and recommend improvements.

2. Hardware Test Development & Project Support

• Assist in developing and improving hardware test solutions for electronic products.
• Coordinate day-to-day testing activities and monitor project progress.
• Ensure testing tasks and deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline.

3. Failure Analysis & Technical Support

• Work closely with customers and internal teams to investigate product failures and technical issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to identify the source of problems.
• Prepare technical reports, document investigation results, and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce product failures and improve product reliability.

4. Tester & Hardware Design

• Develop tester schematics and supporting hardware documentation based on testing requirements.
• Use KiCAD or equivalent schematic/design software to create electrical diagrams and hardware designs.
• Support modifications and improvements to test hardware when required.

5. Test System Integration & Setup

• Set up and integrate electronic test instruments and equipment for product testing and verification.
• Configure communication interfaces between test equipment and the Device Under Test (DUT).
• Perform equipment setup, calibration checks, and functional verification to ensure the test system operates accurately and reliably.
