Your responsibilities

• Ensuring global support for the worldwide test fields of the BU Bilstein Motion Solutions,
  with a focus on the product lines SbW, SG, CEPS, and SC
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of mechatronic test benches
• Integration of new types in the course of new projects on test benches according to specification
• Development of automated evaluation scripts
• Maintenance and optimization of existing test processes and reporting
• Support during test bench commissioning
• Implementation and commissioning of endurance run sequences
• Execution of electromechanical test bench updates
• Execution of software-related test bench updates together with Software Development
• Collaboration in project teams for test bench procurement or upgrades
• Further development and optimization of existing test benches and processes
• Technical consulting regarding testing topics
• Training of test field employees
• Support in programming department‑relevant applications
• Analysis and commissioning of supplied restbus simulations
• Coordination and alignment of restbus requirements and implementations
• Release and validation of new test support equipment

Your profile

• Successfully completed and recognized education as an engineer (Dipl. Ing FH / BSc.) , as well as experience in the field of mechatronics
• Experience in the automotive sector, testing, and data analysis
• Ideally, experience working with automotive BUS systems
• Business‑fluent English, spoken and written
• Experience in programming software routines (especially automated data evaluations)
• Preferably experience with VBS (Visual Basic Script) and Python
• Moderate willingness to travel in the ramp-up phase
• Ability to moderate conflicts, coordinate work activities, and make decisions within the team
• High problem‑solving competence
• Ability for abstract thinking
• Assertiveness
• Motivation to drive developments forward
• Independent and responsible working style
