Test Equipment Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor or Power Module OSAT
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and automated test systems.
• Familiarity with data analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Exposure to or knowledge of the following is an advantage:
• Automated Test Equipment (ATE), handlers, or power module test systems
• Hardware debugging, instrumentation, DAQ systems, PLCs, or LabVIEW
• Yield improvement, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis
• Semiconductor test, OSAT, or electronics manufacturing environments

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and maintain production test equipment and hardware.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and hardware issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support tester installation, calibration, validation, qualification, and production release.
• Drive improvements in test reliability, throughput, and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Test, Process, Product, Quality, and Operations teams to support NPI activities and volume production.
• Implement preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
