Test Infrastructure Platform Lead (MTest)

About the role

Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 team members across Environment Management, Support, and Development functions. Drive end-to-end test environment delivery and management activities, ensuring environments are delivered consistently, securely, and within agreed timelines. Provide leadership and oversight across infrastructure platforms, database platforms, middleware platforms, integration and file transfer services, and network and connectivity management. Lead environment and operational support services, oversee incident, problem, and service request management processes, and act as the primary point of accountability for environment governance and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 20 team members across Environment Management, Support, and Development functions
• Drive team performance, engagement, capability development, and succession planning
• Manage resource planning, workload allocation, and prioritization across multiple initiatives
• Lead and oversee end-to-end test environment delivery and management activities
• Ensure environments are delivered consistently, securely, and within agreed timelines
• Drive environment planning, provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and operational readiness
• Lead environment and operational support services and oversee incident, problem, and service request management processes
• Act as the primary point of accountability for environment governance and service delivery
• Coordinate activities across Development, Testing, Infrastructure, Security, Database, Middleware, and Business teams
• Drive automation, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives

About you

• 8-12 years of overall IT experience
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience
• Proven experience managing teams of approximately 15-20+ resources
• Experience leading both Development and Support/Operations teams
• Experience managing environment services in a large enterprise environment
• Hands-on leadership experience in people management, team performance management, service delivery management, incident and problem management, operational governance, and stakeholder management
• Strong experience in Test Environment Management, Environment Provisioning and Delivery, Environment Governance, Environment Scheduling and Allocation, Release and Deployment Coordination, and Test Data Management
• Good understanding of Windows Server, Linux Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Apache Web Server, JBoss EAP, Oracle WebLogic, SFTP Services, IBM MQ, and Network Connectivity, Firewall and DNS Coordination
