Test Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders from project inception to understand business objectives, processes, and product requirements.
• Analyze and review product specifications, business requirements, and change requests for individual retail insurance projects.
• Work on new product launches, rider implementations, minor product modifications, and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
• Review test scenarios and test artifacts to ensure comprehensive coverage of business requirements.
• Identify additional or negative test scenarios and provide recommendations to the testing team.
• Track development and testing progress using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Provide support during User Acceptance Testing by clarifying requirements, analyzing issues, and coordinating with relevant teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in testing within the life insurance domain, particularly with retail individual insurance products.
• Proven experience with testing tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong analytical skills to review and interpret business requirements and specifications.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency in handling QA teams and ensuring adherence to testing standards and practices.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Experience in managing the testing lifecycle and obtaining UAT approval and stakeholder sign-off.
