Test Manager - Brussels

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a major banking transformation project in Brussels. You will be responsible for defining and coordinating the overall testing strategy, ensuring quality and release readiness across complex IT projects and multiple stakeholders.

Your mission

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy and approach.

• Establish test plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.

• Coordinate functional, integration, system, regression and UAT activities.

• Coordinate test teams, business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners.

• Manage defects, risks, dependencies and test reporting.

• Support business users throughout UAT.

• Monitor test progress, coverage, quality and release readiness.

• Ensure testing activities are aligned with project and release timelines.

• Challenge test results and ensure quality criteria are met before release.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.

• 7+ years of experience in software testing, with significant experience as a Test Manager / Test Lead.

• Proven experience managing testing within large and complex IT projects.

• Strong experience in banking or financial services environments.

• Solid knowledge of SDLC, test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments; SAFe is a plus.

• Strong experience in UAT and stakeholder management.

• Experience coordinating distributed or international teams.

• Good knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, HP ALM / Quality Center or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of API testing, SQL, test automation, CI/CD and risk-based testing is a plus.

• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.

• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong plus.
