REQUIREMENT FOR TEST MANAGER:

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

• Define and own the end-to-end testing strategy covering SIT, Payroll Comparison Testing, and BAT.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and coverage matrices.
• Establish test entry and exit criteria for each testing phase.
• Align testing activities with business requirements, project objectives, and release timelines.

Test Management & Leadership

• Lead and oversee testing teams across multiple testing streams.
• Provide direction to business users, testing teams, and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing activities and ensure timely execution across all phases.
• Drive collaboration between technical teams, business teams, and project leadership.

SIT, BAT & Payroll Comparison Testing

• Oversee System Integration Testing to validate end-to-end integrations and business processes.
• Lead Payroll Comparison/Validation Testing to ensure payroll accuracy and consistency.
• Manage Business Acceptance Testing and facilitate business validation and sign-off.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across HR, Payroll, ERP, and enterprise applications.

Defect Management & Quality Assurance

• Oversee defect identification, prioritization, tracking, and resolution.
• Drive risk-based testing and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor defect trends, testing progress, and quality metrics.
• Ensure testing phases meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare and present testing dashboards, status reports, defect metrics, and quality assessments.
• Communicate testing risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Provide data-driven insights to support project decisions.
• Present testing readiness recommendations and go/no-go assessments.

Release & Go-Live Readiness

• Assess overall testing completion and production readiness.
• Ensure timely defect resolution and business sign-off.
• Support release planning and go-live decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing governance and delivery quality.

Who Can Apply?

• Candidates with 10+ years of testing experience and at least 5 years in a Test Manager role.
• Strong hands-on experience leading SIT, BAT, and Payroll Comparison/Validation Testing.
• Experience with HR, Payroll, ERP, or enterprise application implementations.
• Good understanding of manual and automation testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of test governance, defect management, and risk-based testing.
• Experience with SDLC, STLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in business sign-off, release readiness, and go-live assessments.

Good to Have

• Large-scale HR and Payroll transformation program experience.
• Payroll reconciliation and parallel payroll testing.
• Test automation strategy and framework knowledge.
• Test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
• Experience with test dashboards, defect analytics, and quality reporting.
• Experience coordinating distributed testing teams and multiple workstreams.

• Experience with testing dashboards, quality metrics, risk assessment, and go/no-go decisions.
• Proven track record of achieving business sign-off and production readiness.
