Test Manager (with Maximo Experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead software quality assurance and testing activities across projects, with preference for candidates who have IBM Maximo testing experience. The role will oversee test planning, execution, defect management, resource allocation, and coordination with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and QA frameworks.
• Lead testing activities across functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Manage and coordinate a team of QA/test engineers, including resource planning, task assignment, and workload management.
• Review requirements and ensure adequate test coverage and traceability.
• Establish testing standards, processes, and quality metrics.
• Monitor test execution, identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular status reports.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including defect identification, prioritization, tracking, and resolution.
• Work closely with developers, business users, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure testing activities are aligned with the SDLC and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation, and testing practices.
• Where applicable, oversee testing activities involving IBM Maximo applications and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9.1–12 years of experience in software testing, QA, or test management.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, and QA frameworks.
• Experience managing different testing types:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• Performance Testing
• UAT
• Hands-on knowledge of testing and defect management tools such as:
• JIRA
• ALM
• Selenium
• JMeter
• Postman
• Cypress
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
• Experience with defect management, requirements traceability, and test coverage analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage QA/test teams.
• Strong resource planning, task allocation, and workload management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Maximo testing experience is preferred/required, depending on project requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior QA/Test Manager who can manage both the strategic and operational aspects of testing—from defining the overall test approach and ensuring coverage to leading the QA team and coordinating with business and technical stakeholders. Experience in IBM Maximo implementations, integrations, or application testing would be highly relevant.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
