Test Planning Manager (Semiconductor)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Section Manager, Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer demand, planning test capacity, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer forecasts and plan test capacity accordingly.
• Manage production schedules and test loading to support customer demand.
• Coordinate with Engineering teams on new product test requirements.
• Monitor daily test performance and drive recovery actions for delivery risks.
• Manage WIP levels, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate offshore/subcontractor scheduling activities.
• Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) targets are achieved.
• Handle customer return lots, NPI, engineering lots, and shipment planning.
• Work with customers and internal teams to resolve planning and capacity issues.
• Support forecasting, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years relevant experience, or Diploma/SPM with 10 years semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, or semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
