Test Process Engineer

About the role

This role involves responsibility for project structure assessment, with deep understanding of manufacturing processes. Based on DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles, you will propose product design optimization recommendations. You will design production line jigs and fixtures, product interconnection board outline design, coordinate with R&D and fixture manufacturers, and conduct fixture acceptance. You will perform 2D and 3D product analysis, develop jig and fixture solutions considering safety, commonality, reliability, operability, and cost, and coordinate reviews with internal R&D, ME, NPI, process engineering, and external fixture manufacturers. You will establish design and manufacturing standards for jigs and fixtures, complete assembly fixture debugging and line design work, compile line and fixture PFMEA and CP, and establish corresponding standard operating procedures. You will manage fixture inspection before warehouse release to ensure normal production line startup, analyze production line fixture anomalies, and optimize existing fixtures. You will analyze and manage production line downtime caused by fixture repairs and establish preventive maintenance mechanisms. You will prepare documentation including fixture management and daily maintenance guidance documents and customer audit fixture-related files. You will manage fixture and tool assets in the warehouse and oversee warehouse and fixture testing station 6S management. You will be responsible for corrections, improvements, and secondary processing of existing workshop fixtures and train fixture technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assess project structure, understand manufacturing processes, and propose product design optimization recommendations based on DFM principles

About you

• Associate degree or above in mechanical design, mechatronics, or related field
• 3 or more years of experience in jig and fixture design, debugging, and maintenance
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other 2D/3D design software
• Familiar with jig and fixture design, mechanical processing technology, and production line assembly processes
• Capable of DFM analysis and anomaly improvement
