Required certificates

At least 1 certification among:

• ISTQB Advanced
• or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
• or 3 years' experience in test design above required minimum experience at similar position

Knowledge and skills

• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"
• Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools
• Expert in designing tests
• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.

Specific requirements

• Proven functional, regression and acceptance testing of enterprise web applications built on SharePoint / SPFx / React with .NET Web APIs, including API testing (e.g. Postman) and basic performance testing (e.g. JMeter)
• Hands-on management of test plans, test suites, test cases and defects in Azure DevOps Test Plans / Boards, with traceability from requirements and user stories to test results and to the commits / pull requests fixing the defects
• Experience in taking over a test asset base from a third-party contractor (test-case inventory, regression suites, environments) and in verifying a Definition of Done that includes security-scan and penetration-test findings
• Ability to work with business owners on acceptance criteria and UAT organisation; availability for a knowledge-transfer period.

Typical tasks and responsibilities

• Designs and documents test cases for software systems.
• Executes test.
• Executes exploratory test sessions.
• Reports test results and found defects.
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues.
• Cooperates with analysts, architects, software development and service desk teams.
• Reviews project documentation.
• Takes test lead role in smaller projects.
