Job Summary

The candidate should have 10+ years with strong experience in test management, automation, AI-enabled testing platforms, DevOps,

The role involves defining testing strategies, implementing AI-powered test automation solutions, managing testing teams

• Test Automation framework development or framework enhancement. ( We’re specifically looking for a resource who has actively contributed, either on framework development or enhancement. Not that resource who has just executing the test suite with predefined framework) .
• Java, Python, JavaScript / Typescript.
• API Testing with RestAssured or Postman/Bruno.
• Implementing AI-powered test automation solutions
• Should have worked on BDD.
• Selenium Webdriver.
• UI Automation -: WebdriverIO or Karate for Angular & React apps automation .
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Good knowledge of Unix commands.
• Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner.
• Should be good at problem solving, prioritization and debugging with excellent analytical skills.
• Capability in identifying automation opportunities.
• Able to setup framework from scratch in bank approved technology stack.
• Should be ready to work as a manual tester (as and when needed)
• Excellent communication skill.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design And Execute Comprehensive Test Plans And Test Cases For Software Modules And Features Using Python And Selenium, Ensuring Thorough Coverage And Alignment With Business Requirements.

2. Utilize Automation Frameworks Built On Python To Enhance Test Efficiency And Coverage, Performing Various Types Of Testing Including Functional, Regression, Usability, And Api Testing.

3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Using Python-Based Testing Tools, Adhering To Established Procedures To Maintain Quality Standards.

4. Proactively Collaborate With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions While Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices.

5. Stay Current With The Latest Trends In Testing Technologies And Contribute To The Creation And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries Utilizing Python.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Python For Software Testing And Automation.

2. Strong Understanding Of Testing Methodologies And Frameworks, Specifically With Selenium.

3. Knowledge Of Microservices Architecture And Its Testing Implications.

4. Familiarity With Api Testing Tools And Practices.

5. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Software Tester (Cst), Istqb Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer.
