Test Specialists

• 12 + 12 + 12 months, $$$ negotiable per hour
• Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide + Hybrid WFH
• Current Baseline security clearance required - MANDATORY

Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on protecting Australia's natural environment and heritage sites is seeking multiple Test specialists (Test Managers, Test Program Managers, Automation Test Engineers, Senior Test Analysts) to join their team in November.

Senior Test Analyst

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Test Analyst on complex ICT projects.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience developing test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports.Proven experience managing defects, test execution, and traceability across the testing lifecycle.
• Experience with test automation, API testing, performance testing, and security testing tools.

Test Automation Specialist Lead

• Extensive experience designing and implementing automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (preferred), with experience in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation tools considered desirable.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages used in automation (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript

Automation Tester / Specialist

• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (preferred), with experience in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation tools considered desirable.
• Extensive experience designing and executing automated tests across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

Test Manager and Program Test Manager

• Demonstrated experience leading testing services across large and complex ICT programs and projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and test governance frameworks.
• ISTQB Test Manager, Advanced Test Manager
