Role Overview

• To be responsible for establishment of product test process and maintenance test equipment in electronics manufacturing industry.
• Professional knowledge of Electronics / Mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

• To install, debug and accept new test equipment.
• To maintain test equipment and solve problems concerning with test equipment and test process to support production.
• To ensure that the product quality requirements are taken care of in the defined work area.
• To draft work instructions & procedures, manage and update technical files.
• To develop the test process to reduce test cycle time.
• To draft training material and conduct training for operators.
• Cross project support & assistance to meet the org objectives.
• Downtime analysis, Troubleshooting of tester and product, Issue Tracking, Contingency plan, backup solutions. Improvements, cost saving.
• Sound ICT Principles.
• ICT Programming knowledge.
• ICT Programming and fine tuning.
• Basics of Components-Actives and Passives.
• Debugging and Analytical ability.
• Thorough Knowledge of Quality tools (Cpk, G R & R, PFMEA).
• Tester Validation, ensure all products meet quality standards through rigorous testing. Zero defect, Lean, SOP/WI,8D,5W, GR & R, CpCpK.6 Sigma.
• Test yield improvement / Direct test equipment troubleshooting / PM.
• Line set up / Edit new program / Order new fixture and check it / verify the new product line.
• Test method development / Test time reduction / capacity improvement.
• PM, implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. OEE, MTBF, MTTR. Effective spare Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTECH/BCA/BSc

Minimum Relevant Experience (in Years): 2 to 15 Yrs
