Position: Full-Time On-Site Test Team Lead

Project Scope: Deliver independent software testing for government initiatives, covering online systems, batch jobs, and reporting platforms.

Requirements

IT Experience: At least 6 years of full-time, hands-on IT professional experience (excluding academic study, IT training, teaching, and product sales/marketing).

Testing Background: Minimum 3 years of practical software or application testing experience acquired over the past 20 years.

Leadership Skills: A minimum of 2 years leading a testing team is preferred.

Domain Expertise: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in independent government testing projects—covering online applications, batch jobs, and reporting modules—is strongly preferred.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both Cantonese and English, with the ability to collaborate smoothly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Testing Execution & Management: Drive end-to-end testing workflows, execute manual/automated scripts independently, and conduct regression retesting for fixed bugs.

Planning & Documentation: Develop comprehensive test scenarios, prepare data sheets, and draft/maintain all project test documentation and progress reports.

Quality & Risk Control: Oversee defect tracking, manage risk identification and mitigation, and compile formal Test Incident Reports for stakeholders.

Team Leadership: Supervise junior testers, audit daily work performance, and deliver structured training sessions.

General Duties: Handle testing logistics, resource arrangements, and any ad-hoc testing tasks assigned by management.
