Test Technician

Pentrac Itron Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a hands-on Test Technician to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will perform testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment while supporting multinational customers across various industries.

What You'll Do

• Perform testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes.
• Conduct functional verification and safety testing.
• Prepare calibration reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support maintenance of calibration equipment and laboratory systems.
• Work closely with engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma, Certificate or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in testing, calibration, electronics manufacturing, quality, or equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes or calibration equipment is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and work in a laboratory or technical environment.
