Test Technician

About the role

IOT Manufacturing is seeking a Test Technician to conduct failure analysis and technical troubleshooting on production fallouts. You will identify and isolate component or board-level faults, coordinate with repair and production teams to fix and re-verify failed units, and work with line Engineers to provide feedback on failure modes and drive corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fast, precise failure analysis and technical troubleshooting on production fallouts and rejected Units Under Test (UUTs)
• Identify and isolate component or board-level faults from In-Circuit Test (ICT) and functional test failures
• Coordinate directly with the repair and production teams to fix and re-verify failed UUTs, returning them back to production within the shift
• Work alongside line Engineers to provide feedback on failure modes, helping drive long-term corrective actions to eliminate repeat defects

About you

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on working experience in production test troubleshooting or failure analysis
• Practical background in ICT failure breakdown, functional circuit testing, and schematic/board-level troubleshooting
• Good analytical capabilities and strong problem-solving skills
• Clear communication with cross-functional team members
• Proactive, self-motivated, and dedicated to maintaining shift efficiency and quality standards
