Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality assurance procedures on manufacturing components, primarily within the aerospace or industrial sectors. Your expertise will help ensure that all products meet strict safety standards and quality specifications, contributing to the overall excellence of our operations.

Duties

• Conduct non-destructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and X-ray inspection to evaluate material integrity.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately identify inspection points and specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment for precise measurements and component assembly checks.
• Perform surface mount technology inspections and mechanical testing to verify assembly quality.
• Collect and analyze data from various tests, ensuring compliance with ASME codes & standards and safety protocols.
• Document inspection results thoroughly in reports and maintain detailed records for quality assurance purposes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues identified during testing and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with non-destructive testing methods including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and X-ray inspection techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, especially in aerospace or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools for data collection and reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to equipment testing and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and perform soldering tasks with precision.
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret test results effectively and ensure quality control throughout production stages.
• Prior experience in steel radiographic testing (RT) or other steel non-destructive testing techniques is a plus.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols combined with mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
