Test Technician (Electrical / Semiconductor Equipment)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will perform end-of-line testing, burn-in activities, setup, and diagnostics for high-tech semiconductor equipment—including wafer robots and module sub-assemblies—to ensure top-tier quality compliance for our global customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing & Setup: Perform end-of-line testing, burn-in activities, and basic assembly, setup, and adjustment of semiconductor equipment (including wafer robots and module sub-assemblies) according to OMS, work instructions, and customer specifications.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Execute assigned test plans using diagnostic tools and software, read blueprints and schematics, identify basic technical issues, and escalate complex problems to senior technicians or engineers with proper documentation.
• Documentation & Compliance: Accurately record test results and observations, support process improvements, maintain safety, ESD, and cleanroom compliance, participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, and assist with manpower flexibility and ad hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements

• Background or qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment testing, diagnostic software, reading schematics, and troubleshooting.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols, ESD controls, and cleanroom standards.
• Excellent team player with a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement (Lean/5S).

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
