Test Technician - Night Shift

Shifts Available:

Shift B: Sunday - Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 6:00 am & Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 12:00 am

Shift D: Wednesday from 12:00 am - 6:00 am & Thursday - Saturday from 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Position Summary

The Test Technician is responsible for executing functional and diagnostic tests on work units/racks to verify performance, identify defects, and ensure compliance with established quality and technical standards. This role supports the production process by accurately documenting results/analysis, escalating issues when necessary, monitoring the racks on real time during all testing processes and contributing to the overall reliability and quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Analize failures based on the testing logs results from the units or racks (depending on the assigned area) to ensure the racks smoothly process.
• Monitoring in real time the racks/units assigned that are under testing until it passes to ensure there’s no downtime and commit with the daily goals from factory.
• Transport racks with finished units to the designated testing area safely and efficiently.
• Conduct functional and electrical safety tests, including HiPot testing, following established procedures.
• Work according to established process through work instructions based on the assigned area.
• Failure and analysis follow up to ensure the debug efficient and solutions documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to support efficient operations.
• Assist and collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
• Kaizen mindset to keep the improvements on our process.

Qualifications

Grade 7 Salary

• Associate degree or equivalent; higher education or technical certifications are a plus. Education levels may be substituted with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT or computing systems; 2 years preferred.

Grade 6 Salary

• High school diploma or equivalent. Education levels may be substituted with relevant work experience.
• IT Background

General

• Basic knowledge on Linux console environment.
• Responsible (Basic), Security Awareness, Use of Social Networks, Cultural Diversity Awareness, Code of conduct, Integrated Systems Cultural Diversity, Integrated Management Systems.
• Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop technical expertise.
• Medium office and computer skills for accurate reporting, and failure analysis documentation.
• Highly committed, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards.

Region/Country-Specific Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident and able to provide a valid residential address and driver’s license. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
