Test Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop test and validation plans based on product and system requirements
• Define measurement methods and clear pass/fail criteria
• Set up measurement points for temperature, flow, pressure, voltage and current develop test benches, fixtures and measurement environments
• Conduct and analyse performance and reliability testing, including: Heating performance, Pressure loss and leakage, Insulation resistance and dielectric strength, and Vibration and thermal cycling
• Evaluate abnormal conditions such as low flow, blocked flow paths, air entrainment and pump failure
• Validate temperature sensor placement, response time, overheat detection and protection behaviour
• Compare simulation results with physical test data and recommend improvements
• Conduct safety and fault-injection testing with system and control teams
• Support issue resolution and validation activities through mass-production launch

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in automotive component testing, validation or thermal management equipment
• Experience developing test plans, measurement methods and acceptance criteria
• Hands-on measurement experience with temperature, flow, pressure, voltage and current
• Experience setting up test equipment, fixtures and measurement environments
• Strong data analysis and root-cause investigation skills
• Experience working with design teams to resolve technical issues
• Performance and reliability validation experience within mass-production development
• Business level Japanese (JLPT N3+) and English (TOEIC 700+)
