Hiring: Mechanical Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Data Centres

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Testing & Commissioning Engineer to support testing and commissioning activities for data centres and other mission-critical infrastructure projects across the UAE/GCC.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mechanical systems, HVAC and critical cooling infrastructure, with a solid understanding of how systems are designed, installed, integrated and operated.

We are specifically looking for technically strong engineers who can understand what the engineering numbers and test results mean in actual system performance, rather than candidates who simply follow testing and commissioning procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Strong experience in mechanical testing and commissioning
• Hands-on experience with HVAC and critical cooling systems
• Experience with Chillers, Chilled Water Systems, CRAH/CRAC Units, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers and Pumps
• Understanding of mechanical drawings, schematics, equipment schedules and technical specifications
• Ability to interpret engineering parameters, design values, readings and test results
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to verify system performance against design intent and project specifications
• Experience with large-scale MEP, data centre, mission-critical or infrastructure projects
• Exposure to BMS interfaces and integrated systems testing is advantageous
• Knowledge of formal commissioning processes is preferred but not essential

What we are looking for:

A Mechanical Engineer with genuine hands-on testing and commissioning experience who understands how mechanical systems are put together, how they should perform, and how to identify issues when actual performance does not match the engineering/design requirements.
