Testing and Commissioning - MEPFS Engineer

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or other relevant MEPF-related engineering course.

· PRC license is preferred/required depending on project requirements.

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MEPF testing and commissioning, preferably in construction, infrastructure, transportation, or large-scale building projects.

· Experience in system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, system integration, and technical documentation is preferred.

· Detail-oriented, Systematic and safety-conscious

· Good communication and coordination skills

· Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Willing to work on-site and coordinate with various project teams.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

· Demonstrated experience across the full commissioning lifecycle: system testing, commissioning execution, troubleshooting, cross-system integration, and technical documentation/reporting

· Technical Competencies- Deep knowledge of MEPF systems: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and related integrated systems. Strong skills in system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions.

· Process & Documentation Competencies- Coordination of system integration and functional testing across multiple MEPF disciplines. Tracking and formal closure of commissioning items and outstanding works.

· Behavioral & Interpersonal Competencies- Effective stakeholder coordination: contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project management teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety compliance.

Clear technical communication — written and verbal — for reports, meetings, and guidance.

GENERAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Planning & Process Development

· Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for MEPF systems

II. Execution, Inspection & Technical Verification

· Conduct and supervise testing, inspection, and commissioning activities of MEPF systems and equipment

· Verify system performance against approved drawings, specifications, design requirements, and project standards

· Assist in system integration and functional testing between different MEPF systems

· Conduct or coordinate calibration and verification of instruments, equipment, and testing devices

III. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

· Coordinate with MEPF contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and the Project Management Team during testing and commissioning

· Participate in inspections, coordination meetings, and technical discussions related to MEPF systems

IV. Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance

· Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions for identified issues

· Ensure compliance with applicable MEPF codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications

V. Documentation, Reporting & Closure

· Prepare testing and commissioning reports, checklists, test results, punch lists, and other required documentation

· Monitor and ensure proper closure of testing, commissioning, and punch-list items

VI. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

· Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are conducted safely and in accordance with project HSE requirements

VII. General / Other Assignments

· Perform other duties related to testing, commissioning, and MEPF works as assigned

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
