Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer

We are seeking a technically competent and hands-on Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer to coordinate and execute testing, inspection, commissioning and verification activities for our engineering and IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that installed systems operate according to approved specifications, design requirements and project acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute testing and commissioning activities in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications and commissioning plans.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements, testing procedures and commissioning documentation.
• Conduct functional testing, system verification and performance checks for relevant installed systems.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
• Prepare and maintain testing records, commissioning reports, checklists, test results and related technical documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during testing and commissioning activities.
• Monitor outstanding defects, coordinate rectification works and conduct retesting to verify compliance.
• Ensure testing and commissioning activities comply with safety requirements, approved procedures and applicable technical standards.
• Support integrated testing, system interface verification and client witnessing where required by the project.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built documentation, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, commissioning reports and project handover documents.
• Provide technical support during project completion, system handover and post-installation verification.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, ICT or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in testing and commissioning, engineering, ELV, ICT infrastructure or MEP projects will be an advantage.
• Understanding of testing procedures, technical drawings, commissioning documentation and troubleshooting methods.
• Able to interpret technical specifications and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
• Able to work independently and meet project testing and commissioning schedules.

Added Advantage: Candidates with previous experience handling Data Centre projects, particularly in testing and commissioning, integrated systems testing, system verification and project handover, will have an added advantage.
