Role Description The Testing & Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad. This role involves testing plastic injection moulding and related machines to ensure performance, accuracy, and safety before dispatch or installation. The engineer will perform on-site commissioning, routine maintenance, and repairs at customer locations, as well as provide field service support, diagnostics, and technical guidance. Daily responsibilities include identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, documenting test results and service reports, and coordinating with production, quality, and customer service teams. The engineer will also support customers with training on machine operation and basic troubleshooting, while maintaining clear, professional communication in person and over phone or email.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for industrial machinery and control systems.
• Candidates should possess hands-on Field Service experience, including onsite installation, commissioning, and customer support.
• Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and for preparing clear service documentation.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field is preferred.
• Experience with injection moulding or similar capital equipment will be an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety standards.
• Willingness to travel for field service, strong time management, and customer-focused mindset.
