Testing Lead

SUMMARY

The Testing Lead will be the owner of all tasks related to testing for our SaaS platform (Planview Portfolios) for internal and client purposes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full testing process, from writing detailed test scripts to executing test scenarios and ensuring the platform meets business requirements. You will play a crucial role in the quality assurance process, working closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project deliveries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Own and manage the entire testing process (UAT, SIT & Cloud), from planning to execution.

·      Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive test scripts and scenarios based on business requirements and functional specifications.

·      Execute test cases across various platforms and applications, ensuring full coverage of UAT and platform testing.

·      Identify, document, and report bugs, issues, and defects found during testing, and work closely with development teams for resolution.

·      Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define and review UAT criteria, ensuring business goals and objectives are met.

·      Track and communicate testing progress, results, and timelines to stakeholders.

·      Provide clear and structured feedback and testing documentation for continuous improvement.

·      Act as a key point of contact for testing matters, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

·      Facilitate UAT sessions with stakeholders to validate that the solution meets the business needs.

·      Continuously assess and refine testing processes to improve efficiency and quality.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications

·      3+ years of experience in UAT or platform testing, with a focus on ownership of the testing process.

·      Strong understanding of UAT methodologies, processes, and tools.

·      Experience in writing and executing test scripts, scenarios, and cases.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and proactively find solutions.

·      Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey testing outcomes and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

·      Proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

·      Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

·      Experience working in project and portfolio management (PPM) systems is a plus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role. Limited travel is expected for this position.
