Responsibilities

1. Testing Center Operations – End‑to‑End Control

  • Demand & Scheduling – Oversee the review of all testing requests, prioritize workloads, and coordinate master scheduling to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • On‑Site Safety – Enforce strict safety protocols during daily testing activities, ensuring a hazard‑free work environment.
  • Team Competence – Plan and execute training programs and performance assessments for testing personnel, guaranteeing that every technician is fully qualified and processes run without interruption.
  • Equipment & Materials – Manage maintenance and calibration of all testing equipment; forecast material needs; and create, update, and standardize work instructions for every test procedure.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting – Lead the execution of tests, promptly investigate any data anomalies, implement corrective actions, and finalize accurate test reports for internal and external stakeholders.

2. Lean Management & System Excellence

  • Asset Lifecycle Management – Coordinate the entire equipment lifecycle – from purchase requisition and incoming inspection to preventive maintenance, calibration, and final scrapping decisions.
  • Procedure Standardization – Develop and continuously improve operating procedures for all testing instruments, ensuring they are clear, compliant, and user‑friendly.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting – Drive root‑cause analysis for any equipment malfunctions and implement sustainable improvements to minimize downtime.
  • Quality System Building – Establish and maintain a robust quality management system; lead the drafting, review, and implementation of all required documentation (policies, quality manuals, SOPs).
  • Process Optimization – Design and refine workflow systems to ensure smooth operations and ongoing compliance with internal and industry standards.
  • Quality Supervision – Oversee internal training effectiveness and conduct regular quality audits of testing work to uphold the highest standards.

3. New Laboratory Industrialization

  • Resource Planning – Take full ownership of resource allocation and capability development for newly built labs, from initial concept to full operational readiness.
  • Equipment Procurement – Lead technical evaluations, vendor negotiations, and acceptance testing for all new laboratory instruments.
  • Documentation Rollout – Develop Level‑3 documents (standard operating procedures, forms, checklists) for new labs and ensure horizontal deployment across existing facilities for consistency and best‑practice sharing.

4. Safety & Environmental Stewardship

  • Corporate Safety Targets – Champion the achievement of company‑wide safety KPIs, driving a culture of proactive risk prevention.
  • Safe Work Environment – Design and maintain a safe testing ecosystem – including facility layout, PPE compliance, emergency response, and ongoing safety rectification projects.
  • Zero‑Incident Goal – Implement closed‑loop management for Safety and Environmental (EHS) performance, striving for the “double zero” – zero accidents and zero environmental incidents – through continuous monitoring, reporting, and improvement.

Requirements

  • Education – A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, technology, or engineering discipline is required.
  • Professional Experience – A minimum of 8 years of hands‑on experience in quality testing, with a proven background in at least one of the following sectors: electronics manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, or new energy production.
  • Language Proficiency – Fluency in Malay, English, and Mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential, as you will regularly collaborate with cross‑functional teams and engage directly with Mandarin‑speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Preferred Advantage – Prior work experience with a third‑party testing or inspection agency is highly desirable, as it brings external benchmarking insights and enhances our operational credibility.
  • Flexibility & Mobility – Willingness to participate in overseas training programmes and undertake business travel as required to support global initiatives and capability expansion.
