Testing Supervisor

About the role

This role involves planning, managing, and supervising testing activities for new products across prototype, trial batch, and mass production stages. You will oversee the design, selection, validation, and implementation of testing fixtures, review and approve testing standards and procedures, and ensure testing equipment and machines are available and capable in alignment with production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise testing activities for new products including prototype, trial batch, and mass production stages
• Review, approve, and control testing standards and data such as FCT, functional test, aging test, and calibration procedures
• Oversee the design, selection, validation, and implementation of testing fixtures suitable for actual production
• Review and approve test instructions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and readiness before trial or mass production
• Ensure availability and capability of testing machines and equipment in alignment with production plans
• Establish and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans, including spare parts management
• Control budgets related to testing equipment, maintenance expenses, and new equipment investment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce testing time, energy consumption, and cost while improving test yield
• Analyze testing data, defect trends, and quality risks to support decision-making
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for test-related quality issues

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing or related engineering fields
• At least 2 years of team management or leadership experience is preferred
• Ability to read electrical drawings; experience with AutoCAD and PLC systems is preferred
• Solid background in electrical and electronic engineering, including test parameter setup
• Strong knowledge of inverter assembly processes, both theoretical and practical
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven leadership with a growth mindset and strong commitment to quality and integrity
• Good communication skills in Mandarin or English
