Textile CAD Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Textile CAD Designer role based in Lahore. The Textile CAD Designer will develop detailed fabric patterns and repeats using computer-aided design tools, ensuring designs are ready for production. Day-to-day tasks include creating and refining technical drawings, preparing construction drawings for textile applications, and collaborating with designers and production teams to align design concepts with manufacturing capabilities. The role also involves adjusting designs based on feedback, maintaining organized digital design libraries, and ensuring all CAD files adhere to quality and specification standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Drawing and Technical Drawing skills for accurate visual representation of textile designs.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating, modifying, and managing digital textile patterns and layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and Design Engineering to translate creative concepts into production-ready specifications.
• Proficiency with industry-standard textile CAD software (e.g., NedGraphics, Texcel, or similar) and familiarity with print and weave design processes are beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related field, along with prior experience in textile or fashion CAD, is preferred.
• Attention to detail, color sense, pattern development skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are important.
