What they need
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop innovative textile, surface and embroidery designs.
- Work closely with the design team to develop seasonal collections.
- Experiment with upcycled fabrics, patchwork, appliqué and fabric manipulation.
- Create mood boards, textile concepts and design samples.
- Develop prints, embroidery and surface placements for garments.
- Coordinate with artisans and production teams for sampling.
- Ensure designs align with the brand’s aesthetic and sustainability values.
- Research new textile techniques, materials and trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of textiles, surface techniques and embroidery.
- Good understanding of fabrics, colours and textile development.
- Portfolio showcasing textile/surface design work.
- Ability to translate artistic concepts into innovative and commercially relevant textile designs.
Location: Delhi, India
Experience: Fresher / 1 year
