Textile Printing Technical Executive

About the Role

Sincerely Dyeing and Finishing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Textile Printing Technical Executive to join our team in Batu Pahat, Johor.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting textile printing design, technical specifications and production processes, ensuring customer artwork and design requirements are accurately translated into production-ready specifications.

You will work closely with our Design, Production, Colour Lab, Quality and Sales teams to ensure printing quality, colour accuracy and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop textile surface printing designs, repeat patterns and production-ready artwork for fabrics and specialised textile products.
• Convert customer artwork, concepts and samples into production-ready designs and technical specifications.
• Prepare printing specifications including design size, repeat size, colour separation, colourways, print placement and printing methods.
• Coordinate strike-off, colour matching, sample development and bulk production approval.
• Monitor textile printing processes to ensure consistency and compliance with approved artwork, colour standards and customer specifications.
• Work closely with Production, Colour Lab, Quality and Sales teams to troubleshoot printing issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues such as colour variation, print registration, pattern alignment, repeat defects and printing marks.
• Review printed fabrics against approved standards before bulk production and shipment.
• Maintain accurate records of artwork, colour recipes, printing specifications, strike-off approvals and production parameters.
• Assist in improving printing techniques, quality, productivity, process control and waste reduction.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams on printing requirements and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Design, Fashion & Textile Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Experience in textile printing, fabric design, artwork preparation, dyeing or textile production is an advantage.
• Knowledge of textile printing processes such as screen, rotary or digital printing is advantageous.
• Good understanding of repeat patterns, colour separation, colour matching and print registration.
• Familiar with textile materials, colours, printing defects and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of embroidery design and production specifications is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or other textile CAD/design software is preferred.
• Able to interpret customer artwork, technical specifications and approved samples.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
• Fresh graduates with relevant textile/design knowledge are encouraged to apply.
