Role Overview
The Computer Teacher is responsible for delivering the CBSE Computer curriculum effectively, ensuring strong digital literacy and conceptual understanding among students, and maintaining high standards of classroom teaching and assessment. The candidate should be subject-proficient, student-focused, and committed to CBSE teaching standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum & Lesson Planning

● Plan and deliver lessons in line with the CBSE Computer Science / Information Technology curriculum

● Prepare micro and macro lesson plans in advance

● Design competency-based assessments and practical exercises as per CBSE guidelines

Classroom & Lab Teaching

● Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons covering computer fundamentals, MS Office, coding and internet safety

● Use varied teaching methods to address different learning levels, including lab-based and project-based learning

● Maintain discipline and responsible use of systems in the computer lab

Assessment & Student Progress

● Conduct regular theory tests, practical assessments, and evaluations

● Track student progress and provide timely feedback

● Support students who need additional academic help

Documentation & Compliance

● Maintain accurate academic records, lesson plans, practical files, and assessment reports

● Follow CBSE documentation and compliance requirements

● Coordinate with the academic team for curriculum planning and reviews, and oversee the upkeep of lab equipment and software

Eligibility and Qualifications:

● Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / IT (B.Sc/BCA/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA) with B.Ed

● CTET/TET qualified as per CBSE norms

● 2-3 years experience teaching Computer subjects in a CBSE-affiliated school

● Familiarity with CBSE Computer Science / IT curriculum and competency-based assessment patterns

Desired Skills & Personal Attributes:

● Strong subject knowledge (computer fundamentals, MS Office, Python/programming basics) and teaching ability

● Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of AI tools and their responsible use in the classroom

● Good communication and classroom management skills

● Patient, approachable, and student-focused

● Proactive and organized in planning and documentation

Work Schedule & Conditions:

Days: Monday to Saturday

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
