Job Summary

The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering physical education lessons, promoting physical fitness, developing students' sports skills, and encouraging healthy lifestyles. The teacher will organize sports activities, competitions, and fitness programs while ensuring student safety, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver physical education lessons according to the school curriculum.
• Teach fundamental skills, rules, and techniques of various sports and games.
• Organize and conduct sports events, annual sports days, tournaments, and inter-house competitions.
• Assess students' physical fitness, sports skills, and overall participation.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, leadership, fair play, and sportsmanship.
• Maintain sports equipment, playgrounds, and activity areas.
• Ensure student safety during sports activities and follow appropriate safety procedures.
• Identify talented students and provide guidance for competitive sports.
• Maintain attendance, assessment records, and sports activity reports.
• Coordinate with other teachers and school management for sports-related activities.
• Promote physical fitness, wellness, and healthy lifestyle habits among students.

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognized university.

Experience

• Relevant teaching experience in a school environment is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical education, sports, games, and fitness activities.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate students and manage groups effectively.
• Knowledge of first aid and sports safety procedures.
• Strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
