Salary: AED 1,800 – AED 3,000 per month

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Thai Chef (Commis Level) to join our kitchen team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have basic to good knowledge of Thai cuisine, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Candidates with experience in Thai restaurants or Asian cuisine are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking authentic Thai dishes.
• Prepare ingredients, including vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, and spices.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality and taste.
• Assist the senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Follow food safety, storage, and handling standards.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in good condition.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service hours.
• Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Thai Chef, Commis Chef, or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of Thai ingredients, sauces, herbs, and spices is an advantage.
• Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
