Thai Director

About the role

Serve as the school's official Thai Director, legally authorised to sign and certify all government documents required for school operation. Lead and manage the school official documents with the Ministry of Education (MOE), Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC), REGIS-OPEC and other relevant Thai authorities. Lead and manage for the Quality assurance by ONESQA, OPEC (E-SAR) and EDT (SCR).

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support across all aspects of the teaching license and permit process, including eligibility checks, preparation and submission of documents, follow-up, renewals, and liaison with relevant authorities
• Manage the end-to-end visa and work permit process for expatriate employees, including document preparation, application submission, liaising with government agencies, and tracking application status
• Advise and guide hiring managers and expatriate employees on Thai immigration laws, regulations, and requirements
• Respond to inquiries related to visas, work permits, and teaching licenses, providing clear guidance and support as needed
• Accompany and represent expatriate employees at the Immigration Office, Labour Department, Teachers' Council, Ministry of Education, and other relevant bodies
• Ensure compliance with all immigration, labour, and education regulations, conducting regular reviews of related processes and documentation
• Maintain accurate, up to date and well-organized records of all visas, work permit, and teaching license applications and approvals
• Prepare and issue official documents, including Student verification, MOE contracts, Bank account opening, Police Clearance Certificate, Tax ID No
• Stay current with changes in immigration, labour, and education laws, implementing updates to HR processes as necessary
• Monitor and manage the expiry of employee- and school-related legal documents, ensuring timely renewal and full regulatory compliance

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field
• Valid Teaching Licence issued by the Teachers Council of Thailand
• Educational Administrator Licence from the Teachers Council of Thailand, confirming eligibility to serve as Thai Director
