About the Role
We are looking for a Thai - Japanese Interpreter to serve as the communication bridge between Japanese consultants, Thai developers, and business users during a system implementation project. This role combines professional Japanese–Thai interpretation, technical/business translation, and follow-up on project issues and action items to keep the project on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Thai–Japanese interpretation and translation — including technical terminology for IT systems, software development, and manufacturing operations, meeting minutes, project documents, user requirements, and action items — during project meetings, requirement discussions, system implementation activities, and issue resolution, while maintaining a project-specific terminology glossary.
• Facilitate day-to-day communication among Japanese consultants, Thai developers, and client users, ensuring mutual understanding between all parties.
• Track and follow up on project issues and action items with relevant stakeholders, escalating unresolved matters to the Project Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Japanese, Translation/Interpretation, IT, or related field.
• JLPT N2 or N1, with excellent Japanese communication skills.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter, preferably in automotive industry.
• Experience in IT/ERP/manufacturing system implementation projects preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology.
• Knowledge of SDLC, UAT, and tools such as Excel, Teams, Backlog, or Jira.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on-site at client locations.
